What began as a way to solve creative challenges has evolved into a space where technology and artistry meet to empower storytellers.

Founded in 2018 by award-winning director Gerardo Martínez, Metahuman grew out of years of developing documentaries, short-form productions and stories for television.

The development of "The Dreamer", produced for Facebook Watch, brought filmmaking and visual effects under the same creative direction. That combination went on to define Martínez's work as a commercial director for some of the world's leading brands.

As the work grew, Stellium VFX was born as a dedicated visual effects studio. In 2024, a partnership with Maligno Gorehouse expanded its capabilities and opened a new chapter in film, contributing VFX to films including Hombre al Agua, The Garden We Dreamed and No Me Sigas.

Sound followed a similar path. In 2025, the growing need for sound design, foley, recording and original music led to the creation of Symmetry Sound with Alejandro Durán.

Today, we are developing original feature films, expanding our own intellectual properties and tools for artists to make the creative process simpler, faster and more accessible.
